Refund policy

Fourteen days. No reason needed. We would rather give the money back than have someone feel stuck with something they do not want.

The short version

Ask within 14 days of buying and you get all of it back. You do not have to explain, justify, or prove anything, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Which payments

How to ask

  1. Email info@pyxils.com.
  2. Tell us the email you bought with, or your order number, or your licence number — whichever you have. The licence number is in Pyxils under Settings › Licence, and it looks like PYX-4K7MQ-R2D98-XB3.
  3. That is the whole process.

You can also ask Paddle directly: Paddle.com is the reseller that processed your payment, and the receipt email it sent you has a link for help with your order.

You will hear back within two working days. The money goes back the way it came, and how long it takes to appear is up to your bank — usually a few days, sometimes up to ten.

After a refund

The licence stops working on every computer it is on, the next time Pyxils checks in — usually within a day. Pyxils itself keeps running as the free version: nothing is uninstalled, nothing is locked, and no file you have downloaded is touched. They are your files and they stay on your disk.

After the 14 days

We are not obliged to refund, but write anyway and say what happened. If Pyxils broke, or stopped working on a site you bought it for, or charged you for a year you did not mean to renew, say so — those are our problem, not yours, and we will sort it out.

If something is broken

Inside the 14 days a refund is yours for the asking, but it may not be what you want. If a site stopped working or a download will not finish, tell us first — that is often a fix rather than a refund, and knowing about it is how the next version gets better.

Who takes the payment

Payments are handled by our payment partner, who is the merchant on record for the sale. Their name is what appears on your card statement, and they process the refund. You do not have to deal with them directly — write to us and we will do it.

Your legal rights

Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Where local law gives you a longer or stronger right to cancel, that law applies and this policy does not limit it.
